EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to partner our Central Function by providing commercial, operational and financial performance decision support to the relevant operational leads within Finance
As the Finance Analyst, you will provide valuable modelling, information, insight and decision making, whilst ensuring operational and financial control process compliance, as well as being accountable for driving a performance management outcome-based culture throughout your business area
Further responsibilities include:
- Deliver analytical and business decision support across our Central Functions.
- Provide modelling information and insights:
- Support in-year performance with analysis and forecasting.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks; develop improvement plans.
- Control costs of large expenditures like insurance.
- Track commercial savings.
- Support transformation programmes with valid business cases and trackable benefits.
- Ensure operational teams have financial support and performance insights.
- Prepare budgets and periodic forecasts; evaluate multi-year plans and annual budgets.
- Maintain controls to prevent transaction recording errors and inaccurate reporting.
- Commission monthly reports, ad-hoc analysis, and financial modelling.
- Prepare the annual performance report and manage cost allocations with regulatory controls.
- Mentor and take on leadership responsibilities to junior members of the team
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
You will be a Qualified Accountant with a commercial mindset, who is highly analytical, with the ability to take a lead in diagnosing business issues and deliver performance improvements
You will have strong influencing skills and be able to credibly advise, guide and constructively challenge when required
This role could suit both a Newly Qualified Accountant from Industry or a first-time mover from practice, looking for their first Industry move

- Salary of £45,000 - £57,000, dependant on experience
