LET’S CUT STRAIGHT TO IT
Join our team as an Engineering Technical Specialist supporting the delivery of nationally significant water resource projects, ranging from £150m to £1.5bn. You'll work alongside Engineering Technical Leads to shape the future of water resilience, supporting the development of engineering, operational, and costing solutions for both long-term and emergency projects.
Some of the other key accountabilities:
- Support engineering packages for RAPID-gated projects
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions
- Help develop junior members of the wider team, most of which are not engineers, to grow the individual’s skills, capabilities and qualifications and foster a culture of innovation
- Contribute to regulatory submissions and assurance processes
- Support supplier engagement and contract administration
You'll be expected to work out of our Head Office in Coventry and other sites on our patch. You’ll work within our Engineering Team. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, WFH flexibility available and travel to other sites will be required at times so you’ll need to hold a full U.K driving licence.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in multi-disciplinary water industry projects
- Familiarity with NEC contracts and risk management principles
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Degree in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent experience)
- Working towards chartership (desirable)
