LET’S TELL YOU MORE

We’re looking for an experienced and people‑focused End User Computing (EUC) Lead to lead, inspire and develop our EUC team. We are seeking someone who can strengthen team cohesion, improve adaptability, and support colleagues in adopting more consistent and modern approaches to EUC service delivery.

You’ll bring strong leadership, clear communication and a passion for helping others grow, creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement. While technical understanding of Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace tools is important, your real impact will come from how you coach your team, shape behaviours and align their development with our wider business goals.

You’ll work confidently with stakeholders at all levels, translating technical issues into business language, influencing decisions and gaining buy‑in for improvements. You’ll support workload management, guide your engineers through complex challenges and ensure excellent service delivery using ITIL best practice.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone positive, supportive and people‑centred—someone who cares about their team, values diversity and wants to make a meaningful difference for our colleagues and communities.

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre Head Office in Coventry.  You’ll be charge of  a dedicated EUC team of 11 and With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, there may be some on call work.

HOW WE WORK

You'll join a caring culture that collaborates to achieve, grow, and develop. Our employee engagement scores are among the highest globally in energy and utilities. That’s why, we value in-person moments to keep our culture alive but also understand the flexibility working from home can bring. So, you'll usually find us in the office, but working from home is supported, when you need it.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re seeking an experienced, people‑focused and forward‑thinking End User Computing (EUC) Manager who can lead, inspire and develop a high‑performing team. This role is about bringing out the best in others—shaping positive behaviours, empowering individuals to grow, and creating a culture where people feel supported, motivated and accountable. You’ll guide a team of skilled EUC Engineers, helping them build confidence, enhance their capability and continuously improve how we deliver services to colleagues across Severn Trent.

While a solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Modern Workplace technologies and ITIL best practice is important, your greatest impact will be through your leadership, communication and ability to connect with people. You’ll set clear expectations, support workloads, coach your team to solve challenges, and champion a mindset of continuous improvement. You’ll play a key role in aligning team development with the wider business strategy, ensuring everyone understands their contribution to our shared goals and feels empowered to succeed.

Strong relationship management will be essential. You’ll collaborate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex technical issues into clear business language, influencing decision‑making and securing buy‑in for improvements. Your blend of interpersonal, negotiating and leadership skills will help drive team performance and elevate customer experience, ensuring our services are resilient, reliable and truly centred around end users.

Above all, we’re looking for someone who brings positivity, empathy and genuine care for people. Skills and experience matter, but character is just as important. We value individuals who get involved, build others up, and want to be part of something bigger—people who help us grow, learn and better support the communities we serve. This is a role where strong leadership and technical understanding work hand in hand to create meaningful impact for both our people and our business.

Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too.  We welcome people from all walks of life and celebrate individuality as we know diverse minds, experiences and backgrounds help us to learn and better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.
