At Severn Trent, our Office of Data is at the heart of delivering our data strategy and governance framework. We’re building a future where data is not only used intelligently and ethically, but also managed with care, especially when it comes to our customers’ personal information.
We're looking for a DSARs Data Analyst with a strong background in managing complex Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other data subject rights, along with a deep knowledge of GDPR, to add experience to our existing team when handling sensitive customer interactions.
A key part of the role will be to lead and conduct the end to end process for Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs) and other data subject rights (e.g. erasure, rectification) in a timely compliant manner. You will also act as a key liaison with our Legal team and DPO.
You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre head office in Coventry. You’ll work within our dedicated team of 4. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for someone with proven experience managing DSARs and other data subject rights in a complex environment including a strong knowledge of the SAR processes and redaction rules for companies. A strong working knowledge of GDPR and data protection principles will be essential also.
A high emotional intelligence and experience dealing with customers who may require careful and empathetic handling will be highly desirable due to the type of work you will be doing as will Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Excellent data analysis skills, including data modelling, reporting, and investigation will be a must as will be a passion for responsible AI and data ethics.
