Within our highly engaging Communications team, we’re on the lookout for a Creative Designer to join us, becoming an integral part of our in-house creative agency.

 

In this role you will oversee our design projects from conception to delivery. You will work closely with the team to drive and deliver our brand strategy across Severn Trent Group, ensuring there is an identity throughout the business and being the custodian of our brand and ensuring it is delivered consistently in all the work we do.

 

Working in a team of experts you’ll guarantee that all of our creative content engages and excites both customers and colleagues alike, keeping us at the forefront of creative content.

 

Key Accountabilities for the role include:-

  • Design, develop and execute high quality, print and digital content.
  • Take ownership of the design process, from creative concepts through to delivery across all channels
  • Collaborate with the wider Comms and Marketing team to develop and deliver customer-focused campaigns across a range of channels
  • Design and effectively implement external and internal communications content (including event collateral) across key printed and digital touch-points
  • Manage relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders at all levels, including external agency partners
  • Provide a best in class service to all internal customers, regularly seeking feedback to continually improve our offering

To be a success in the role, we’ll be looking for you to be a creative thinker who is as comfortable with conceptual development as you are with executional detail and have a portfolio that demonstrates work on integrated campaigns and skills in multi-disciplinary design.  Technically we’d like you to be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and have experience in video editing and motion graphics (After Effects + Premiere Pro).

 

We’d love you to be like us and have a passion for Design and the adoption of new ideas and ways of communicating our brand, with exceptional attention to detail and care for the quality of your work, striving to add value to the smallest of jobs.

 

Most important of all, as our new Creative Designer you’ll have effective cross team collaboration and the ability to work across multiple creative projects at one time.  Exceptional time management and organisation skills will be key, as will relishing working in a fast-paced, high volume workload environment and be able to manage multiple project deliverables to tight deadlines.
