As a Programme Delivery Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of this work. Leading delivery within our Community Engagement strand, you’ll design and deliver high‑quality, inclusive programmes that support young people and adults facing barriers to employment. From community‑based employability initiatives to outreach events and workshops, your work will directly contribute to our social impact strategy and long‑term talent pipeline.
You’ll work closely with community organisations, local authorities, partners and internal stakeholders, identifying and maximising government‑funded opportunities to reach priority groups. Acting as the day‑to‑day lead for your programme area, you’ll ensure delivery is safe, effective, engaging and evidence‑led.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and delivering impactful community employability programmes, workshops and outreach activities
- Building strong, collaborative relationships with community partners, charities, universities and internal teams
- Supporting adults and young people into programmes, training and employment opportunities
- Ensuring high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and duty of care
- Capturing robust data and outcomes to demonstrate social value and continuous improvement
- Maintaining programme materials, guidance packs, content and reporting
HOW WE WORK
You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry (with regular regional travel).

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
What we’re looking for
- Hands‑on experience designing and delivering programmes or initiatives
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the confidence to engage varied audiences
- Excellent organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder management skills
- A genuine passion for supporting people and communities facing barriers to opportunity
- Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety requirements
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable experience
- Knowledge of Gatsby Benchmarks, Careers & Enterprise Company standards or DfE provider access expectations
- Familiarity with the Skills Builder Framework
- Experience working with priority cohorts (e.g. care experienced, SEND, long‑term unemployed)
- Understanding of social value, outcome reporting or evidence‑led practice
Additional information
This role requires flexibility to work occasionally outside normal hours and to travel for events. You’ll also participate in a safeguarding rota, reflecting our strong commitment to wellbeing and safety.
