EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We are looking for a Category Manager to work within our Capital Commercial Team, truly delivering for the future.
As a Category Manager, you would play a role in the strategic planning and procurement of Design Services to support our biggest AMP8 programme yet!
Working to build and secure supply chains in accordance with procurement guidelines, with the key accountabilities comprising of;
- Support all in-contract tendering mini-competition selection processes, driving cost efficiencies throughout the duration of the contract.
- Assist the Senior Category Manager with the management of supplier KPI’s.
- Review of Digital Service Order Agreements / Standalone Contracts
- Produce and effectively manage the Secondment Agreements
- Support the Project Administrator with system set-up and queries
- Effectively liaise and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Assist the Senior Category Manager with managing the Severn Trent AMP 8 Capital Delivery Contractors to ensure contract performance targets are met
- Supporting the Senior Category Manager with analysis, market research and communication as and when required.
- Relationship manage framework providers to ensure programmes and budgets are adhered to.
- Conduct supplier audits /site visits to ensure ongoing performance.
- Where possible, engage with operational colleagues to further understand the effectiveness of product and the support received from the supply chain.

Some of the experience we are looking for:
- To have key Stakeholder management and having the ability to influence people throughout all levels of the business.
- To have supplier management experience within the Construction Design is highly desirable.
- The ability to create, adapt and evolve processes to achieve the best practices for the project delivery.
- Strong communication, expediting and influencing skills.
