This role is part of the Capital Income Team within the Receivables function of the wider Finance Hub, supporting our key stakeholder, Developer Services.
The team is responsible for delivering an effective and professional credit control service, ensuring that all stakeholders are accurately invoiced for application-related fees and that cash is allocated correctly. We operate in a high-volume environment, maintaining strict SLAs while delivering best-in-class customer service.
Based at the Severn Trent Centre in Coventry, you will manage a dedicated ledger, ensuring the accurate billing and allocation of application fees, down payments, plot connection charges, and build-over fees. The role involves handling both inbound and outbound calls related to payments and collections, alongside maintaining regular contact with customers and internal stakeholders.
You will work closely with Developer Services teams to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, proactively identifying key accounts requiring additional focus and support. You will also play a key role in contributing to DMEX ODI performance, both qualitative and quantitative, through regular customer interaction and by supporting Developer Services in achieving their service level objectives.
Roles available
We currently have 2 positions available, 1 x permanent and 1 x 12 month fixed term contract.
The 12-month secondment/fixed-term contract to provide maternity cover. The successful candidate will benefit from a handover period and the opportunity to be trained by the employee temporarily stepping away from the role.
This role offers valuable exposure to both Operational Finance and Developer Services, with significant opportunities for growth as we enter an exciting phase of onboarding S/4HANA across the organisation.
What you’ll bring to the role
The successful candidate will ideally have had an experience working in an Operational Finance Team or a Developer Services/ Operational role. Be well versed in the use of SAP ECC and Microsoft applications and have an experience of call handling and an awareness of general accounting and vat procedures. The right skills and experience are important. But if you have the right character and attitude, we want to talk to you, too.

HOW WE WORK
You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry. With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week.
