If you want to do more, because you care, we want you on our team.
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
We’re looking for a highly skilled, passionate and self-starting Waste Assurance Analyst to join our Waste Assurance Team. This is a key role focused on strengthening our waste assurance processes, ensuring we meet our performance targets and external regulatory commitments.
You’ll take ownership of assurance for several key wastewater performance measures, identifying opportunities for improvement and managing these through to implementation. Using your strong analytical capability and technical wastewater knowledge, you’ll turn insight into action and drive tangible, measurable improvement.
This role will be based at our head office in Coventry.
Key accountabilities will include:
- Owning and driving improvements in waste assurance and reporting processes in line with regulatory requirements and internal procedures.
- Managing internal and external assurance requirements for key wastewater performance measures, ensuring accuracy and data quality.
- Reporting accurate wastewater performance, highlighting assurance concerns and escalating issues quickly to achieve the best outcomes for customers and regulators.
- Tracking benefits from assurance improvement initiatives, escalating where progress is at risk and driving decision-making.
- Working with Performance teams to provide insight into wastewater data, identifying risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Applying strong technical knowledge to build credibility, influence priorities and manage expectations.
- Managing the end-to-end missing feedback process and identifying learning to improve Incident Report Form accuracy.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a driven individual who can very quickly build a credible reputation and work with our waste operational teams, strategic contract partners and customer teams at all levels though on-going collaboration.
You’ll be confident analysing data, solving problems and turning insight into improvement, with clear written and verbal communication skills and a strong ‘Right First Time’ mindset.
Highly organised and calm under pressure, you’ll prioritise effectively and work confidently with minimal supervision. Experience within wastewater operations, assurance, reporting, continuous improvement or a regulated environment would be beneficial, as would the ability to spot external best practice and embed it practically.
You’ll be degree qualified or have significant relevant experience, with technical qualifications such as BTEC or City & Guilds seen as an advantage.
Skills and experience are important, but character, positivity, and a caring attitude matter too. We welcome and celebrate diverse individuals, knowing they help us better serve our communities. We seek people who get involved, want to be part of something bigger, and make a difference because they care.
