EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

 

As an Accounts Receivable and Cash and Controls Associate you will be responsible for the the end-to-end Invoice to Cash process within the Accounts Receivable (AR) team, including:

  • Central master data management
  • Invoice creation and query resolution
  • Monthly AR tasks such as journal postings in SAP, month-end reporting, and Balance Sheet reconciliations

Additionally, the role provides cover and support for Cash & Controls Senior Associates, ensuring robust financial controls across:

  • Banking, Payroll, Customer Billing, Utilities, Fleet, and Treasury systems
  • System interfaces with SAP and other finance platforms
  • Compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

You will play an important role integral to month-end and year-end cash postings, reallocations, and reporting for Severn Trent Finance and related entities, involving collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.

On the credit control side, you’ll chase debt via phone and email, manage part of the MISC/Retail ledger, and work towards monthly and annual debt reduction targets. You’ll also allocate cash across multiple ledgers (ST, HD, OSUK, STRUSS) within 48 hours of receipt, and support bad debt provision reviews.

You'll be based at our Severn Trent Centre in Coventry.  With this being such a critical role, we’re looking for someone who can join us 37  hours a week.
