EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
This role involves inputting maintenance plans and communication routes to drive implementation, supporting the monitoring of compliance with the strategic planning schedule, and interfacing with key stakeholders for the development of proactive O&M plans.
As a Proactive O&M Planner, you will investigate and promote new best practices for proactive planning activities. You will liaise with and support Asset Care Senior Advisers on the implementation of any updates to proactive plans. Additionally, you will input Bio, Waste, and Water Infra/Non-Infra O&M strategy, specific asset regimes, and standards for critical plant and equipment. Ensuring asset reliability to meet company and legislative requirements through strategic planning is a key responsibility.
The successful candidate will use and maintain company IT systems/databases, including SAP business processes, to ensure data accuracy and asset performance. Inputting maintenance plans and schedules into the right format to optimise asset efficiency is crucial. You will support an audit program against operational standards and drive continuous improvement in strategic proactive planning. Furthermore, you will liaise with external contractors involved in portal work.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To excel in this role you will have:
- Strong capabilities to use company IT systems, including planning/scheduling software.
- Good analytical skills to prioritize short and long-term objectives and deliver against the plan.
- Excellent planning and implementation skills.
- Ability to relate detailed system analysis to future strategy requirements.
- Ability to work with and influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- A working knowledge of maintenance planning in SAP.
- A full UK driving licence is essential for this role.
