EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW

This is for the role of Network Response Technical Support.  This is an entry Level position, which would be the perfect was to start your journey with Severn Trent. It will be a Full-time Contract, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7:30 – 3:30 and early finish Friday approx. 3:00pm and no weekend working is needed. 

No formal Admin qualification is required as training can be provided; however some experience of Microsoft applications and working in an office or Admin Support environment would be an advantage. A full standard UK Driving License is required, to allow for travel to Supplier meetings.  You'll be based at our Minworth site, Sutton Coldfield.  

 

HOW WE WORK (Office roles only)

This is a fully office-based role and the successful candidate will be on site, Monday to Friday.  You'll join a caring culture that collaborates to achieve, grow, and develop. The key accountabilities of this role will include: 

  • Support with the processing of purchase orders for supplier orders, ensuring purchase orders are raised and receipted in line with SLA’s.
  • Support with monitoring the performance of our contractors through tracking expenditure, hire timeframes and damages.
  • Support our Network Response shift teams with equipment allocation and stock orders.
  • Maintain compliance within the working environment by completing weekly office checks on fire alarms, emergency lighting, signage and overall office standards.
  • Maintaining office equipment and ordering of office suppliers for the wider Network Response Team.
  • Develop, maintain and update documentation relevant to our teams’ processes (SOPs) and training documents. 
  • Support technical experts within the team to ensure compliance against regulation and safety standards is maintained within the department.
