Leakage Technician

EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As our Leakage Technician you will be expected to undertake all aspects of leakage detection and related work streams.
You should be able to demonstrate a complete understanding of leakage control measures and understand the operation of a water distribution network.
You will also be expected to undertake advanced survey work and accurate pinpointing, planning and deductive analysis in the detection of complex leaks.
This role dictates that you start from home and work across your allocated region so a full UK driving licence is essential.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
In order to be successful in this role, you will need significant leakage detection experience within the water sector, alongside substantial experience or training gained in a similar utility-based environment. You should be IT literate and confident using computer systems, as well as demonstrate excellent customer service skills, with the ability to engage directly with customers in a face-to-face setting in a professional and approachable manner.
Of course, it’s important that we attract the right skill sets, and those with the right experience but we value character, positivity, and a caring attitude in equal weight. The only asks we have of people applying for this role, is that you have a full UK driving licence and a willingness to learn!
